Positions Available! We are currently looking for employment in our doggie daycare and kennel. Our Daycare consists of 10 to 12 daycare dogs a day. We have a large field for dogs to play in as well as a few smaller yards. Job tasks include: 1. Entertaining and watching dogs play 2,Checking clients in and out 3.Cleaning 4. Poop pick up 5. Bathing dogs 6.Other tasks that relate to this job These positions are very physically laboring. If you have any physical limitations, these jobs are not for you. You must be able to lift 50lbs and you will be on your feet moving most of the time. You must have a car /drivers license and be able to drive in all weather. You must always show up 10 minutes early for your shift and be reliable. This is a very important part of these positions. This position requires that you are able to work outside for a good part of your shift. Daycare positions typically start at $17 an hour for adults over 18. There is always an opportunity for a staff member to learn more in this industry. As an employee gains skills and are versed in different areas, pay rates can increase. Remember if you have no experience you must start at the bottom and work up. This is normal in any industry. After school positions are available of ages 16 and older. |
AvailabilityMost daycare shifts are 7am to 1pm or 12pm to 6pm Monday through Friday. This can be altered depending on available hours. Some 3-6pm shifts are also available.
Weekend hours are 9am to 3pm. New employees must be available to work either a morning or afternoon daycare shift and some weekend shifts. . . Some Holiday shifts are required. This usually consists of a 3 hour shift either in the morning or afternoon. |
Bathing and Grooming
Some bathing and grooming will be required. All employees will learn to do light brushing, bathing, nail clipping and ear cleaning. Some employees will go on to learn more advanced grooming.
